I have just bought a second one. The first are still fine after 10 years of heavy use on two allotment privets. The grey centre cog was replaced with a tougher black one for free after 2 years. I tighten the nuts from time to time and use blade maintenance cleaner spray. The second one is so 2 people can cut at once. Amazing shears!
I buy a set of these every year. They are the best of what's out there in my opinion in but could do with improving. The mechanism loosens with wear and tear but I have not been able to get others that cut as well as these. Bought from TooledUp.com very slow from point of order to delivery
