Used it in anger on the 10th January. It's bl@&dy brilliant. I have its smaller brother X23 which is very, very good. The XA23 will slice through 50mm branches given the chance and is very well balanced. And it saves me bending. My back doesn't agree with bending and often runs out of bends.

I have bought several of these over the years for various wildlife groups for use on nature reserves for clearing scrub. Actually purchased this one to clear a huge Phormium (New Zealand Flax) from my garden - excellent and will find loads more use helping Butterfly Conservation Cornwall. Brilliantly weighted, super sharp, easy to use with one hand or two - look after it and it will serve you well for many years, even with heavy use.

I bought this to clear a patch of overgrown garden and it's just the job. Made light work of thick brambles and overgrown bushes. Light, sharp, well balanced and seems very well made. Well worth the money.

It one of best slasher you can get and got fibre that don't break where wood can. It can cut up to 50mm in diameter easy. With full power. Like hit golf. I would recommend to anyone get this product. It more expensive but worth it for long time.

Excellent. Brashing birch trees super quick and easy to use. Will cut branches much thicker than you might think. Only question will be how long it stays sharp and ease of sharpening. Shall I buy the fiskars sharpener ??
