Bought this to trim the lower canopy on a large lime tree. The reach on the cutter is great and the cut mechanism works really well up to the 32mm thickness spec. I found it easy to operate and I feel it should provide good performance over time as it feels very high quality in use. I have only marked it down on features due to the lack of a saw attachment for use on thicker branches but apart from that I am really pleased with my purchase.

The Gardena 410BL is a quality Tool. It did everything I wanted from a long tree pruner. As long as you keep the head reasonably square to the branch you are cutting which is easy with the facility to alter the head angle. All in all a quality tool which does the job and a great service from Tooled Up it was delivered it in two days. Five stars all round.

I bought this as a present, but I already have one myself so I must be satisfied. The pruner works well, and biggest asset is it's top of the range long reach. It is light for it's length, but at the very highest reach the lopper is more difficult to control when using the end pull cord. Not surprising, and worth using when necessary - the alternative would be not being able to cut at that height at all. I have not had the pruner long enough to be sure of build quality, but it does seem to be fine. I do like the feature that it will not get tangled with branches like the ones with rope. There is no doubt this is an expensive pruner, but for me it was certainly worth the money as I did need a long reach.

Mechanism works really well and has good reach. The six metres reach talked about includes adding own body length To the tool but none the less a good 4 metre+ reach

Had 2 of these type of branch loppers and this one is by far the best I've ever had. Well made and extremely easy to use. Delivery was spot on well done. Will definitely shop here again.

It is just awesome. As a small woman in her early 60s, I now find it easy top lop high branches. However - it does NOT come with an allen key to facilitate longer extension, and the nut and bolt for the rest mechanism fell off within an hour of use. Generally very pleased, but I should not have to supply my own allen key and securing bolt.

Great item overall Wish I bought one years ago reduces need for ladders etc Only issue when fully extended hard to control once cut is made But that’s because my trees are too high I have used several times since purchase Would recommend Ideal for trees up to 2 3 metres high If doing from ladder/step ladder recommend second person required

After reading views purchased one Very pleased overall Due to height of my trees fully extended most of the time can be hard to control on you own when cut complete Would recommend though as does the job for average height foliage If you have tall trees something a couple of metres longer would be better should it exist? Quite pricey but quality appears good at this stage

High quality well manufactured pruning shears. Made in Germany, robust and easy to use. Variable height with easy locking system. Shears cut extremely well and being lightweight it takes a good deal less time to complete the task. Modern manufacture. Well made and solid. Ordering was easy and delivery was as advertised albeit they could have been wrapped with more protection. Product is fabulous and more than happy

I have had great difficulty in the past reaching high branches in dense trees. This tool, because of it's ergonomic design allows access to high branches without becoming entangled on the lower limbs. Effortless two way cutting and ease of control make this pruner on of the best I have ever used.

Great bit of kit and easy to cut even thicker stems. Reaches for the sky but still not difficult to hold
