Gardena POWERSAW 250 P4A 18v Cordless Chainsaw 250mm
The Gardena POWERSAW 250 was designed with domestic gardeners in mind and is ideal for tasks such as tree pruning and firewood preparation. It is a cordless chainsaw which which can run on any 18v power tool battery from the PowerForAll 18v Alliance, which means it shares battery compatibility not only with several other 18v cordless garden tools from Gardena, but with a whole family of DIY and Garden power tools from other manufacturers too.
Safety is a top prority, and the POWERSAW 250 has built in protection to help prevent accidents: there is a powerful chain brake which stops the chain if it is triggered during use, and a robust metal chain catcher is designed to stop the chain from disengaging from the saw in the unlikely event that the chain breaks while the saw is running.
The chainsaw is designed with minimal upkeep in mind. Tool-free chain tensioning ensures optimal cutting without the need to add tension to the chain manually. The brushless motor is designed to deliver peak performance over a long time with minimal maintenance. What’s more, the built-in LubriTec automatic oiling system extends the life of the chain by delivering oil to key parts of the chain so you can work with less downtime and maintenance. A tough, long-lasting chrome outer layer provides long term durability and hardened rivets help reduce wear, meaning that fewer chain adjustments are needed.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
