Gardena Universal Chopping and Log Splitting Axe

The Gardena Universal Chopping and Log Splitting Axe is a versatile tool designed for both chopping and splitting applications. With a wide, sharp blade featuring a relatively pointed cutting angle and sharpened on both sides, it delivers clean cuts in fresh and resinous woods such as spruce and pine. Particularly suitable for felling small trees and splitting resinous wood, the axe head features a non-stick coating for effective chopping and easy blade retrieval.

Constructed with a fibre-reinforced PA shaft, the axe combines high strength with low weight for comfortable extended use. The ergonomic softgrip, hooked handle ensures a comfortable and secure hold, while the optimised weight balance helps deliver safe, accurate and controlled strikes with maximum impact force when required. The hammer reverse function on the axe head is suitable for use with plastic or aluminium splitting wedges (not suitable for steel wedges). Available in two sizes: 450mm and 600mm.
