Q : Hello, I've recently bought this product (Makita 9565CR)from yourselves along with a few spare discs. A situation has now risen in which it would be helpful to use this tool on wood! A : Hi Pete, there is indeed - Bosch make a carbide cutting disc which is suitable for cutting wood with an angle grinder. It's on our site under product code 21022756 (just select the 125mm version from the Green drop down menu on the product page)
A : Oh, by the way - if you meant sanding rather than cutting, a flap disc would probably do the job? We have a few on the site and you can find them by typing in "flap disc" in the search bar (bear in mind the action will be quite aggressive compared to a normal sander)

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design. Please note that cordless products will normally have a shorter warranty of just 1 Year for the battery and or charger supplied.
