The Makita BL1850B is an 18V 5.0Ah lithium-ion battery designed for use across the extensive Makita LXT cordless tool platform. This genuine Makstar battery pack delivers extended runtime for improved productivity on site, making it an essential power source for professional tradespeople and serious DIY users.
Featuring Star Protection Computer Controls technology, this battery benefits from comprehensive safeguards including overload, over-discharge and overheating protection to ensure longevity and reliability. The low self-discharge design means the battery retains its charge during storage, whilst the integrated LED charge level indicator allows you to monitor remaining capacity at a glance.
Charging time is kept to just 45 minutes when paired with a Makita rapid charger, minimising downtime between tasks. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
