Makita DBO380 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Finishing Sander
The Makita DBO380 is a premium 18v LXT cordless brushless finishing sander engineered for professional finishing work. Powered by Makita's efficient brushless motor technology, this sander delivers exceptional performance and extended runtime from the LXT lithium-ion battery platform.
The sander features a 3-stage electronic speed control accessible via push button, allowing precise adjustment between 4,000, 8,000, and 12,000 orbits per minute to match different materials and finishing requirements. Constant speed control maintains consistent performance under load, whilst the 2.0mm orbit diameter ensures a superior finish. The 93 x 185mm pad accommodates 93 x 228mm hook and loop abrasive paper for quick, tool-less changes.
Dust management is comprehensive, with both an in-built extraction mechanism and compatibility with external dust extractors. The detachable front grip provides versatile handling options for different applications. Available with or without batteries, charger, and case to suit your existing tool collection.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
