Makita DBO481 18v LXT Cordless Finishing Sander
The Makita DBO481 is a professional 1/4 sheet cordless finishing sander designed for versatile sanding applications. Running on Makita's reliable 18v LXT lithium-ion battery platform, this orbital sander delivers excellent performance without the constraints of a power cable.
Featuring two speed settings for different materials and finishes, the DBO481 offers precise control over your sanding tasks. Its ergonomically designed high comfort grip reduces operator fatigue during extended use, whilst the redesigned balancer significantly reduces vibration in loaded operation. The tool-free paper clamp system allows quick and easy abrasive changes, maximising productivity on site.
Featuring forced dust collection with included dust bag and nozzle attachments, this sander maintains a cleaner working environment. The included punch plate ensures accurate hole alignment for optimal dust extraction. Available as a body-only option or in a complete kit with batteries, charger and Makpac case.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
