Makita DUC307 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Chainsaw 300mm
The Makita DUC307 is a professional 18v cordless chainsaw featuring a powerful brushless motor and 300mm bar length. Developed to deliver lower RPM with higher torque through an innovative gear reduction mechanism, it's compatible with any Makita 18v LXT lithium-ion battery for flexible power options.
The rear handle design with soft grip padding ensures comfortable handling during extended use, whilst the tool-free chain tensioning system allows quick adjustments without additional tools. A large oil tank cap simplifies chain oil filling, and the convenient view window lets you monitor oil levels at a glance.
This chainsaw is available in two configurations: a bare tool version with essential accessories, or a complete kit with battery and charger.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Chainsaws
Always make sure your oil is topped up & your chain is tensioned correctly. This will ensure your chain life is extended & more importantly is operating safely.
