Makita DUC355 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Chainsaw 350mm
The Makita DUC355 is a professional-grade cordless chainsaw powered by two 18V LXT Li-ion batteries in series, delivering a powerful 36V DC motor drive system with brushless technology for extended runtime and durability. Compatible with Makita's standard 18V LXT battery platform used across their construction power tool range, this chainsaw offers the convenience of cordless operation without compromising on power.
Built for demanding trade and industrial applications, the DUC355 features a 350mm guide bar and incorporates advanced safety systems including electric chain brake and kickback brake protection. The ergonomic design includes a soft grip handle and large separate-type metal spike bumper that grips the workpiece firmly for enhanced control during cutting operations. Variable speed control via trigger and adjustable automatic chain lubrication ensure optimal performance across different cutting tasks.
Available in three configurations: bare unit (body only), or complete kits with either 5.0Ah or 6.0Ah battery packs and dual port charger.

Chainsaws

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
