Makita Genuine 196684-1 Soft Backing Pad 150mm for BO6030/40 Orbital Sanders
The Makita 196684-1 is a genuine replacement soft backing pad designed for use with Makita 150mm random orbital sanders. Sourced directly from Makita, this OEM accessory ensures a precise fit and reliable performance when it's time to replace a worn or damaged pad.
Soft backing pads are an essential consumable for any tradesperson or contractor using a random orbital sander regularly. The soft construction allows the pad to conform slightly to the work surface, making it particularly well suited to finishing passes and contour sanding where consistent abrasive contact is important.
Compatible with the Makita BO6030 and BO6040 orbital sanders, this pad is the correct OEM replacement for both models. Using a genuine Makita part ensures the hook-and-loop abrasive attachment functions correctly and that the pad sits true on the sander, maintaining balance and performance.

• Soft construction for improved surface contact during finishing work
