Benefiting from all the advantages of electrically powered operation, including lower maintenance demands, reduced operational costs & a more lightweight build, Ryobi's RCS2340 also delivers a powerful cutting action that makes it the rival of any petrol chainsaw. Its 2300W high performance motor drives a chain speed of 16m/s, for a smooth cutting motion through the toughest timbers. Powerful sawing is complemented by a comfortable, easy to handle design, fitted with Ryobi's innovative anti-vibration system to reduce stress to the arms & shoulders during operation. Comfort is further improved by the tool's ergonomic, softgrip overmoulded handles & optimised weight distribution. The RCS2340 is also equipped with all the latest safety features, including a debris deflector to protect against wood chips, & a fast acting mechanical chain brake for rapid shut down in the event of kickback. Automatic chain & bar lubrication is supplemented by quick & easy tool-less chain tensioning to ensure that maintenance is kept as simple as possible.
