The Webb X Series WEV20X2HT61 40V Cordless Brushless Hedge Trimmer is a capable, quiet, and comfortable tool for homeowners looking to keep hedges, shrubs, and borders in top shape. Powered by two 20V batteries delivering a combined 40V of performance, its advanced brushless motor provides improved torque, longer runtime, and reduced wear — ensuring reliable results season after season.
The long 61cm dual-action blades offer excellent reach and a clean cut, with a 28mm cutting capacity that handles thicker branches with ease. At up to 1,550 strokes per minute, trimming hedges of all shapes and sizes is fast and controlled.
An ergonomic 5-step rotating handle (0–90°) lets you tackle vertical, horizontal, and angled cuts in comfort, while an electric safety brake stops the blades the moment the trigger is released. Available as a bare tool (no batteries or charger) or as a complete kit with two 4Ah batteries and a USB charger.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Webb Eco & X-Series 20v / 40v
Webb 20v and 40v battery ranges use exactly the same 20v Battery. The only difference is that the X-Series 40v range use 2 batteries at a time as they have 40v motors whereas the Eco 20v range uses 1 battery. Therefore the batteries are completely interchangeable for all tools in the range.
Important:
Some newer batteries also have a USB port for charging (Compatible with newer USB chargers and slide on chargers). Older batteries which are compatible with all tools may not have the USB port so therefore cannot be charged by a USB charger.
