The 1200mm is perfect to avoid bending down all the time and reaching into hedges to remove brambles - can cut at the base without knackering my back, decent quality and sharp. Can always buy a replacement blade too.

Have used this product for pruning in the orchard at the national trust property where i am a volunteer - does a good job without needing lots of effort. Chose this product for home use based on this experience. Haven't needed to prune our apple tree yet but looking forward to doing so later this year.

This product is fantastic! Purchased some years ago and in use all the time. Easy to use and much admired by my gardening friends, who have borrowed it many times. Totally reliable and still very sharp,superb i would be lost without it. Highly recommended.
