Purchased for use professionally and I have to say I am impressed, very light, very sharp and easy to use, ideal for anyone who isn’t that strong.

Excellent quality and very sharp pruner with good reach. Telescopic mechanism works well and keeps the pruners rigid. Not too heavy at just over one kg, although can become a bit unwieldy when fully extended to 3m. Used already with excellent results. Really impressed with this item and would certainly try other tools from this brand. It seems very durable and should give long service; one other plus is that the blades can be replaced but not expecting that to be necessary for a long while. All in all, a great buy.

Really light, easy to use and efficient loppers, just do NOT try to clear a bit of twig from the blades, I made that mistake! The clue was in the name "Razor Edge". I am very pleased with my purchase

A good tool. Great that it is telescopic. Only drawback so far is the diameter of the lopper head could be bigger.

My existing Pruners / Loppers were becoming heavy and unwieldy , so I began a search for a lighter and more manageable successor. The ARS 18ZF appeared to address what I was looking for. ....although they were out of stock I hung on... and placed an Order when they came back into stock. I'm very pleased I did. They are superb - light , manoeuvrable and well engineered ....and they are easy to store ( in my Garage)....I look forward to many years use.

Telescopic razor edge tree pruner. This is a top class professional tool with excellent reach and noteable rigidity of the telescopic pole, which is oval shaped for improved guidance and rigidity, Service from Tooled-up was excellent both in speed of delivery and standard of packaging. Don't waste money on budget pruners, the higher end models are well worth the extra and they just don't break. I was so impressed with the saw, that I then ordered a clip-on handle for use on lower branches. Have to admit that I could have saved a few pounds if I had bought everything at once from Tooled-up, so that's worth remembering. I only review items that I consider outstanding, so you will not be disappointed with this particular model.

Q : Please could you tell me what is the max diameter cut is?
A : Hi Helen, both the ARS 180ZF models (2 metre and 3 metre) are recommended for cutting branches up to 20mm in diameter
Q : are you able to sharpen the blade?
A : Hi Christopher, yes - these blades can be sharpened to maintain their edge. ARS reccomend the SS-240 stone for this.
