I had a Black & Decker strimmer many years ago and was totally happy with it. After many years of good service, it needed replacing. I couldn't find the exact B&D model or even similar model. I ended up buying a model which wasn't B&D because it looked the most similar to my old strimmer . It turned out to be next to useless, I gave it away after only two uses. I searched and scoured the internet, comparing different B&D strimmers and eventually bought this one, the B&D GL 7033. It is brilliant and every bit, and even better, than my original B&D strimmer. It's easy to use, powerful and does a good job. It was important to me that it cut right up to the wall and fence panels, which this one does. It has two strimmer heads, which are easy to inter-change. The tougher head makes short work of nettles and other stronger weeds. I'm over the moon with it and is perfect for our third of an acre good sized garden. Highly recommended.

Excellent Strimmer. Using 2mm auto-feeding cord or for tougher jobs the heavy duty cut lengths can be used. Well balanced as motor is in the handle. Makes edging easy. Great price from tooled up.

Excellent strimmer, quieter and more powerful than my old petrol one. Heavy duty wires work a treat cut through heaviest weeds and brambles.
