It arrived very promtly which was great as my old b&d strimmer had finally died on me after 7yrs of service. i could feel the power straight away and was very impressed at how much it cut away before losing cutting line. i like the adjustable handle as i have back problems and its so easy to change position at the touch of a button. the orange edging tool i found a bit distracting not having one on my previous strimmer but its just a case of getting used to it. i really liked the 2.4mm heavy duty lines which came with it and they were very easy to change over from the ordinary spool and line. it feels very sturdy and well made and i hope i get as much usage out of this one as i did out of the last one. definately better to pay a bit extra than the others that were on sale but having said that it is excellent value for money and i would recommend it to friends and family. i only gave 4 stars for performance because im not used to the edging wheel yet but im sure once i am it would be a 5 star from me. all in all a very happy purchase.

Brilliant cuts through all lengths. Could do with some sort of handle to be able to hang up after use

Excellent machine so far in many ways. Ability to quickly convert from strimmers to edger brilliant. Very powerful so cuts through grass very easily. Motor on end of handle means good balance and easy to use.

Really love this grass trimmer - it is very powerful and made short work of the long grass at the back of the house - it is a bit larger than the other one we had so covered the ground much more rapidly. usual b&d features and build quality - came with a nice long lead and was very easy to to use - too soon to say about reliability but not expecting any issues.

Definately the best electric strimmer i have used and at the price it would be hard to beat. Powerful enough to tackle the most overgrown areas, easy to get under low things and gets right up to the edge against walls and fences even if they are overhanging. Very well balanced and comfortable to handle and easy to re-string without having to buy expensive refills.
