Only had this strimmer a week so not used it a lot yet, but so far it seems a good buy. The power of the 900w motor is very evident at times almost pulling the machine when it hits long grass. The standard line supplied is stronger than other strimmers I have used and does not break nearly as much which is great. I have not tried the heavy duty line and may never need it as the standard line seems to be more than enough for normal grass.

Excellent performance. Lightweight and easy to use. Definitely recommended. Only negative point is the lack of 'hooks' to wrap the power cable around that made life far less tangled on my old black and decker gl380 model and I had to make one using an old hook jubilee clipped to the lower tube and the wrapping the cable between that and the handle. Personally I dislike the colour too - what was wrong with green?

This is perfect for me as I never seem to be able to rewind the ordinary ones, causes an irate husband! You just slot in another line for the heavy duty, job done. Love it.

Good strong strimmer that can still use the parts from the previous version - cuts long and tough stuff well but make sure you order extra HDL lines if you have a large patch to clear. Not too heavy for big projects - delivery was as stated and so far no issues

The extra power and optional heavy duty line definitely assists with longer lengths of grass. The adjustable handle and shaft length helps with a comfortable cutting position although an additional shoulder strap or belt would assist with the weight and angle of the equipment. It needs to be kept as flat as possible whilst cutting or dents appear in your lawn. Overall, happy with the product and service received. The option of selecting a shop to have it delivered to, worked like a dream.

Really is heavy duty…. only downside is the spool wire is more durable than the "heavy duty" attachments! makes short works of strimming large areas. Highly recommended

Bought 2 different grass trimmers from high street stores last summer which were not fit for purpose so we went off the reviews this time. This grass trimmer has great power and is very easy to use. highly recommended.

I've only had this strimmer a short time but so far it's been excellent. it's feels robust, well made and is really powerful, ripped through the overgrowth very easily (which was a couple of feet high). its not super light but is well balanced and i was able to use it for a few hours without too much trouble. if your looking for a good strong electric strimmer at a great price i would highly recommend this one and tooled-up.

Excellent strimmer... The best i've owned. I can't believe i've just blitzed my whole lawn (which was over knee high) in 45 mins. it's lightweight but very powerful. the height is adjustable but i really like how the secondary handle can be adjusted (3 places) with just a click of a button. the power trigger is effortless. another good feature is the spare spool storage.... It's so easy to swap & change lines as and when needed. i highly recommend this product. Especially the 900w model if you have an overgrown lawn/jungle to get through. this actually comes with 10 x hdl (heavy duty lines). Not 5 as stated.

A : Hi Thomas, I'm afraid we don't deliver to Thailand. We can only ship within the UK and Ireland
Q : When I came to the end of my first spool, I could not get the empty spool out of the spool housing, nor since Am I missing something?
A : Hi Terence, I'm afraid I'm not too sure what has happened as there doesn't appear to be any secret technique to removing it and it should come out pretty easily once the spool cap is off. I take it you have been using the standard line? As the HD lines aren't on a spool as such, so there won't be a spool to remove. Otherwise I could only guess that some foreign object or a detached bit of line has worked its way into the mechanism and somehow jammed it...?
Q : Can you buy the line separate or do you have to buy renewable spools?
A : Yes - you can rewind the included spool with standard 2mm trimming line. In fact two of the products listed in the "Accessories" section are reels of line which enable you to do this.
Q : Is it possible to change the trimmer attachments, use different blades attachments to the head?
A : Hi Ash, the GL9035 can be used with either heavy duty or standard trimming lines but it can't be fitted with a solid blade - for that you would need a brush cutter
Q : I have just bought this strimmer , but it has no cable. Can you sell me a suitable cable?
A : Hi Margaret, I'm not sure if you mean a power cable? or grass trimming line? In either case, both of these should be included if you purchased it new and your supplier should be able to send them on to you. If you're looking for replacements or you bought it second hand, I'm afraid we don't sell power cables for these machines but any of the trimming line listed in the "Accessories.." column on the right of the product page will be suitable for use with it.
Q : I have a wall surrounding part of my lawn and with past strimmers this has caused the line to break after only a short distance. Will this HD line cope if I hit the wall?
A : Whilst hitting any brickwork or stone will damage the line the HD lines are thicker and more durable. I can also confirm that the edging wheel should act as a spacer enabling a close cut to your wall.
Q : How long is the electric cable. I have not seen it mentioned.
A : I can confirm that this comes with a power cable roughly 4 meters in length
