More powerful than i expected. Better than my (admittedly old) mains powered one. A bit clattery, and the soft blade cover is a pain. (discarded a hard plastic one with an old trimmer :-() extra battery adds value! i occasional used my old trimmer one handed for extra reach, can't see how to do that with this one which is a good thing. (if you know how don't tell me!

Only received this hedge trimmer today but i must say that so far i am delighted with it. I think my wife would have preferred a smaller lighter machine but this is exactly what we need for our hedges. It is easy to use, cuts extremely well and the standard battery lasts plenty long enough for most of our trimming jobs. Having the free spare battery is an extra bonus.

The hedge trimmer is light and easy to use.( i am female and over 70 yrs). the batteries last well before needing to be recharged. It cuts dense foliage well i.E hawthorne.

Blade cuts extremely well and leaves a better finish than my old petrol model. Only problem is safety minded operating system that requires both the switch to be depressed and handle to be clenched to start the cutter; its very tiring on the wrist and means one handed operation is not possible.

More powerful than the bosch trimmer it replaced, and no heavier. be sure to buy from tooled-up who provide a second battery. bought alone, batteries cost an arm and a leg. with two batteries you can basically carry on cutting for ever by charging one while using the other.
