If you're after a single, versatile splitting axe suitable for everyday use, the X21 may well be an ideal choice. A new addition to the X Series, the X21 incorporates classic Fiskars design features and has been enhanced with a patent pending 3D structured grip for maximum comfort, control and safety, allowing accurate, powerful strikes suitable for big and small splitting tasks.

Designed primarily for medium logs with a diameter of 20-30cm, the X21 can also be put to task on much bigger logs when required. The lightweight Fibercomp shaft allows for maximum swing energy, while the powerful blade cleaves through the grain with ease, for fast and effective results with minimal fatigue. Thanks to it's ergonomic, anti-shock design, the X21 remains comfortable to use even when working through large log piles, while the structured grip and hooked shaft ensure a secure hold for accuracy and safety.

Due to it's Fibercomp construction, the body of the X21 is not only lightweight but also extremely weatherproof and durable - the shaft is virtually unbreakable under normal conditions and envelops the axe head for a bond that remains inseparable even under heavy usage. Complete with a sheath which protects the blade and user during transport or storage, the X21 is supplied with a 25 year guarantee (registration required).
