Greenworks G24SHT 24v Cordless Grass and Shrub Shears
The G24SHT from Greenworks is a compact one-handed cordless garden trimmer which comes with interchangeable blades for tackling precision jobs on grass, hedges or shrubs. It is perfect for trimming ornamental trees and hedges, or for edging around patios or flower beds. As it is part of the Greenworks 24v system it shares battery compatibility with all other Greenworks 24v cordless DIY and Garden power tools, and can be used with any Greenworks 24v lithium ion battery. Capable of running for up to 150 minutes on a fully charged 4.0ah battery, the G24SHT can handle most tasks on a single charge.
The 20cm dual reciprocating blade is ideal for shaping ornamental trees around the garden. For cutting grass around flower beds and patios, simply attach the grass blades with a 12cm cutting width.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Greenworks 24v Battery System
The Greenworks 24v Li-ion System is a range of 24v tools where all 24v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time. In some cases there may be tools that take 2 x 24v batteries to power a 48v motor - These are still part of the 24v battery system but with the added benefit of a more powerful motor.
