Very easy to assemble. Simple to use, just needs bit of time to understand fitting of logs. Gives you hands free operation of log cutting. Easy to transport. A must if you have a logburner and chainsaw. bob

This is an excellent bit of kit - makes chainsawing logs fast and easy - and much safer as the off-cuts fall onto the ground beneath the machine and not under your feet. It also means you do not have to bend down whch using the chainsaw - much more comfortable. highly recommended

Does what is said it would. grips most sizes of wood well, though very irregualr shapes can roll. Also can't cut very short although for everday use not a problem. takes a few goes to erect (a bit like a deck chair, easy once you have worked it out but next time you have to work it out again) but once up very stable. on our log saw it is a a bit fiddly adjusting the clamp for diferent sizes of wood, but this seems to be because one of the machined holes is a bit small and therefore tight. This may not be a problem normally, we may just have been unlucky. overall appears very robust and we are very pleased with it.

An excellent piece of kit, well designed, sturdy yet light enough to carry around easily, and holds long logs securely whilst chainsawing. better still, it takes up very little space in the garage when not in use. Highly recommended.

As a hydraulic engineer i am unfamiliar with cutting/handling timber, however, in an attempt to lower my heating costs we have reinstated the open fire in my home and have available to us a supply of timber. Purchased the saw horse to allow us to cut logs of various sizes to the required length with a chain saw and maintain a good safety. the saw horse was delivered promptly. In good condition and we used it within two days. as it says on the adverts, it does what it says on the tin. appears ropbust, but time will tell, easily clamps differing sizes and allows stable cutting to almost any length. well worth the money.
