Super value- pity the picker isn't slightly bigger as where 2 apples were on a single stem, inadvertently one crashed to the ground! only used once as only just purchased so maybe i'll become more skilful next year!!
Great bit of kit
Good build quality, sturdy pole usable with other attachments. Excellent
Easy to use - very well-designed. Light and easy to manoeurvre
Fast delivery. Great product. Perfect for use. Many thanks
Excellent all round product. very well made and durable.
Received product within days thank you. tool makes fantastic light work of picking apples. it is not too heavy to manoeuvre and you just simply twist the apple off - blade does not seem to have any purpose but still works a treat - great idea, no more climbing ladders
The wolf garten fruit picker appears to be an excellent product and certainly saves the trauma of balancing on steps/ladders whilst apple picking. the product works best on smaller clusters of apples - it is difficult to select individual apples from large clusters. However, i am very pleased with the picker and it enabled me to harvest the apples from our 2 trees in short time.
Works reasonably well on plums. If you have branches that are too dense, then the head can be tricky to position. The little blade does not really provide much benefit; the technique is to position two of the teeth around the fruit and pull. Not perfect, but easier than getting a platform or ladder out.
I have already congratulated you on your speedy delivery. Now I have had a chance to use this item - picked my crop of apricots! - and it really worked well. Have already recommended your company to a friend.
Lovely item, seems sturdy, not used it yet as wrong time of the year but looks very good and can't wait to use it.
I cannot give a review on the fruit picker because I haven't used it. The only things I can guess at are the build quality and the value for money. Otherwise the review wouldn't be accurate or even fair.

Customer Questions & Answers
Q : Which system would you recommend for a Victoria plum tree? All plums have been picked this year with difficulty so some help for next year would be appreciated. Many thanks.
A : Hi Denise, I'm afraid I'm no expert on Victoria plums but I had a quick look at them on Google and it seems they commonly grow in clusters? Plenty of people have reported using the Gardena and Wolf Garten style fruit picker heads on plums with success but I imagine you would want to ensure you can get a whole bunch inside the opening otherwise you might find that a lot of them fall to the ground rather than in the bag - as a rough guideline, these tools will comfortably fit a single (fairly large sized) apple inside the perimeter, but anything larger or more awkwardly shaped will become more difficult to ensnare with precision. If you suspect this may be an issue you could also consider a cut and hold pruner like the ARS ones we stock on Product ID 20999759. These long reach pruners are available in several lengths and enable you to sever a stem from below while gripping on to it and thus enabling you to bring it safely down to ground level. Unfortunately harvesting fruit at height is always going to be slightly awkward but finding the ideal system will depend on the conditions of the fruit trees and the physical strength of the user to some degree. Good luck!
