A heavier mower than I thought it would be but well made and very sturdy. Gives a very good even cut. Not so easy to turn around corners but you do manage to. Very easy to put together, all in all I am pleased with this mower.
This is a really solid and well-functioning lawnmower; I really wanted something with a high cut above the wildflowers in my lawn and it's done a great job. The only downside is that it is very heavy and as such a bit of a pain to manoeuvre in a smallish garden and garage.
I’ve not used a reel mower since I was a kid and it was a chore set by my mum to cut the grass each week. How things have changed. It’s an absolute pleasure to use this. The video online shows a clip where you should be able to put a piece of paper in the reel to check sharpness as it slices it. I was not really expecting it to be that sharp but wow, it sliced the paper like butter. The levels on it are great and putting it together is pretty straight forward. It comes with proper spanners which was a pleasant surprise. It’s expensive, hence the 4 stars, but everything else is 5 star quality.
Quite easy to put it together - only requires handle assembly. It does what it says. I needed something easy to push. It glides over 'decent' level turf, but doesn't cut 'twitch' - as stated in their advertising. Once I get my overgrown lawn areas 'tamed' (I have dogs who like to dig for moles) it will be easy to mow my grass, with no costs like fuel and noise. Quality product, heavy and robust. Overall, pleased with it and can do a large area quickly without the bother of removing cut grass!
