The hedgecutters take a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of the angles it becomes easy and it makes really neat straight lines.Doesn't feel very robust but it's holding up well.Have swapped to this from heavy petrol hand and pole saws that were causing pain and stopping me trimming anything.Now trimming everything without help!Accidently left them out overnight in very very heavy rain and could've cried but towel dried them and they worked no problem.Impressed with interchangeable lithium battery time,power and quick recharge time.Good for little and often hedge trims but no substitute for stilhl petrol if it's big leylandii.The blade need held at 45 degree angle for best cutting then it's easily held flat for really sharp level sides and top.Enjoying hedge cutting again!

Works very well but is too short. Hedge trimmer should come with an extra extension pole similar to that for your tree pruner.

Bought a Bosch mains powered long reach hedge trimmer last year thinking that battery power would not be man enough for what I needed. The mains powered tool is heavy and unwieldy and I look for reasons not to use it. This battery powered trimmer is much easier to use so I use it more frequently to keep things under control and it does the job. Still too early to comment on reliability.

Lighter than my old one, with a much better reach. Only used it once as yet but thrilled so far.
