Bought this instead of a petrol one very light and easy to use only downside is it only come with one battery which is annoying.

So far so good! i previously purchased a similar petrol driven multi tool but found it was far too heavy for me & i couldn't even get it started without help :( so i saw this battery operated multi tool - i can start it because it's battery operated & it's not too heavy for me to lug around & cut my hedges!! It came with an additional spare battery so i can alternate while charging. so far no complaints :) not a bad buy.

First off, i am a 50 year young professional lady gardener. As I am also smallish at 5'3, i needed something to reach a bit higher. This was the lightest extended hedgecutter i could find. It works very well and the batteries last quite long. Only three snags: 1. No harness! I wish it had one as that would take the weight off the hands and arms. 2. It is as long as it is, cannot be extended further. So it's the length of your arms and body and the tool. So if you are a tall person you would struggle sell with an 8 foot hedge than i do. 3. Women's hands are smaller than mens. So i figured out that after switching it on one can let go of the switch and just press the lever in the handle and it will continue to work. It would be very hard to keep both switch and handle pressed at the same time continuously. i wish it could handle bigger branches. The protective pouch wont last long. But i am glad i have this tool. May look what comes out new next year. Wanted the bosch model but the weight just put me off.
