Much heavier than i expected and most of the weight is at the front / top. i was expecting it to extend to 3.5m, but it is about 2m, so only extends when it is held 1m off the ground!! 2 batteries are a good bonus, especially since i also own other b&d 18v items. as a 5' female, it would be good to have a balancing strap to take some of the weight, especially since the trigger is right at the base of the unit. has done a good job on a privet and a yew hedge though - more robust than my lighter, longer but ancient g-tech trimmer whose battery will not keep a charge now.

Item arrived in a couple of days and i was impressed with the speed of delivery. the additional battery was a bonus and is very useful, doubling the work time. the cutter is heavier than i thought, but easy to use once you have read the instructions, which are clear. will use tooled up again when i need any further power tools.

Bought as a replacement for a corded hedge cutter. Easy to assemble, no indication of how long it takes to charge the battery. The weight is awkward to handle, another handle would aid in using it. The multi angle fitting is hard to use. The blade cover is a useless bit of thin plastic, it requires a strong polythene / thick plastic cover. It does the job but requires lots of muscle power

I am extremely disappointed with this hedge trimmer for the following reasons. 1. It can only be used with the pole attached. 2.It is very very heavy. 3. It is too long for me to operate whilst cutting the hedge. 4. The trigger to turn it on is too far from the cutters. 5. I am unable to use it. stuart dunn
